We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home
Raymond Michael Lindquist, 55, of Gilmanton, NH, passed away after a brief illness on Saturday June 4, 2022, under hospice care. Ray was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on September 20, 1966, the son of the late Lorraine and George Lindquist Jr of West Bridgewater.
Ray was raised in West Bridgewater graduating from West Bridgewater High School, class of 1984.
Ray was the eighth of nine children. Many memories were made at the Lindquist home on Commonwealth Ave where the family would gather. While the family home has since been sold- Ray recently compiled all of the home videos and published them for the family to see- gathering the family in one place again.
Soon after relocating to New Hampshire to care for his father- Ray began his career at Saymore Trophy. It was here that he was surrounded by a second family-working for Greg Slossar, who was not only his supervisor but a great friend and mentor.
He will be truly missed for his unique sense of humor. Throughout his life- he brought comic relief to family and friends. With a quick wit and dry sense of humor- he always brought a smile to people’s faces.
Ray is survived by his brother George Lindquist III & his wife Pamela of Brockton MA; brother Richard Lindquist & his wife Sharen; of Brockton MA; sister-in-law Deborah Lindquist of Bridgewater, MA; sister Kathleen McCann & her husband Joseph of Northfield, NH; brother Robert Lindquist of Coeur D’Alene, ID; sister Laura Bade & her husband Greg of Carrollton, GA; along with many nephews, nieces, great nephews, & great nieces. Ray was preceded in death by his sister Ann Lindquist, and brothers Ronald and Mark Lindquist.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
