Theresa Marie (Dukette) Pilsbury
Theresa M. Pilsbury, 53, a longtime resident of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018, following a lengthy unwavering battle of cancer. She passed peacefully with her husband by her side, after spending many hours with loving family and friends. Theresa was born in Concord, April 28, 1965, daughter of the late, Raymond and Dorothy (Johnson) Dukette. She spent her youth in Concord and was a graduate of Concord High School. She lived in Concord until moving to Salisbury where she raised a loving family and spent many happy years. Theresa found her perfect job as a Librarian at Merrimack Valley Middle School and was known for her unique ability to find that perfect book for young readers.
Most important in her life was family and the many friendships she made over the years. She adored her children and grandchildren. Theresa looked forward to hosting family gatherings at her beautiful home in Salisbury. These times were always filled with laughter, love and lots of food.
Theresa had a love of reading and could often be found sitting on her front porch, surrounded by one of her many flower gardens.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, David M. Pilsbury of Salisbury. Her daughter, Keriann Leonard and husband, Benjamin Leonard of Pembroke. Sons, Ryan H. Pilsbury of Tewksbury, Mass. and Daniel F. Pilsbury of Boscawen. Her four grandchildren; Cody, Maddie, Cameron and Mason. Brothers, Raymond Dukette of Northwood and Norman Dukette of Concord. Sisters, Gloria Dukette of Franklin and Jamie Youngblood of Virginia.
There are no calling hours. A service will be held on Saturday, June 23rd at 10am, at Maplewood Cemetery On US Route 4 northbound, prior to the intersection with Route 127. A celebration of life will be held directly after the service at the family home, 365 Raccoon Hill Road, Salisbury NH 03268. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Theresa's name to the Salisbury Free Library, 641 Old Turnpike Road, Salisbury, NH 03268.
