Murray Paul Noyes
Murray P. Noyes, 58, a lifelong resident of the Northfield-Tilton areas died Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Franklin Regional Hospital in Franklin following a period of failing health. Murray was born in Franklin, April 4, 1959, son of the late Hilton F. and Natalie (Dorval) Noyes. Murray schooled in Tilton and was a graduate of the Winnisquam Regional High School. Following graduation he attended the New Hampshire Technical College in Berlin, getting his degree in Culinary Arts. He worked as a chef at the former 52nd St. Tavern in Tilton and Belvedere Restaurant in Franklin. He later worked at the Southwick School in Northfield.
At the time of Murray’s death he was employed for over 11 years as an indoor maintenance worker at the New Hampshire Veterans Home Tilton. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Murray had a great fondness for animals.
He was known to enjoy a “friendly” poker game! Murray was an easy going man and had a great outreach of kindness to others.
In addition to his parents, Murray was predeceased by his father and later his mother Natalie in 2009, and his brother, Conrad R. Noyes in 2016. He leaves,
Brothers, Ernest F. Noyes and his wife Barbara of Concord, Douglas E. Noyes of Ashland and Kenneth W. Noyes of Tilton.
It was Murray’s wish that calling hours and services not be held. He will be buried later in the spring with his mother at Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin.
A celebration of Murray’s life will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the American Legion Post # 49 at the bridge in Northfield. Sharing memories would be important to his family and other friends.
