Dianne S. (Wiser) Benoit
Dianne S. Benoit, a lifelong resident of Franklin died suddenly, Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia following a period of failing health. Dianne was 77 years of age. She was born on April 28, 1940 in Bridgewater, NH, daughter of the late H. Kenneth Wiser and Madeline (Whiting) Wiser. She attended schools in Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School, class of 1958. Following high school, with her background in shorthand, typing and secretarial classes, she was asked to join the Franklin School District and became secretary for the Superintendent of Schools in Franklin. She was employed there until her move to Franklin Savings Bank in May of 1972, beginning her career as secretary and receptionist. She went on to Mortgage Loan Assistant, during this time, she attended and completed the Maine-NH School of Banking at Dartmouth College. She was promoted to Marketing and Public Relations Officer and in 1983, she became Corporate Officer, becoming Assistant Vice President, later working her way up in her career in Marketing. She was an active member of the NH Association of Savings Bank's Marketing Committee as well as an active member of the Business and Professional Women's Association in Franklin, and served on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Merrimack County. Serving in many capacities at the bank she later realized the improvement in the Real Estate Market and directed her expertise in Marketing and became AVP-Lending Loan Officer. Dianne produced a loan volume over and above all expectations. She was instrumental in establishing a new agency and broker relationships for Franklin Savings Bank. Dianne was a member of the Bank's CRA Committee. She also served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Franklin-Tilton Chamber of Commerce, serving as co-chair on several committees. Dianne was predeceased by her parents, she was also predeceased by her step mother, Ruth (Baker) Weglarz-Wiser and sister in law, Nancy (Richardson) Wiser. She leaves, her daughter, Debra M. Nolin and her husband, Victor H. Correia of Milton Mills NH her brother, Richard K. Wiser of Franklin and her nephew Michael Wiser and family of West Lafayette, IN

As requested by Dianne, there are no services planned. Arrangements are under the care of the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home of Tilton.
