Mary R. (Treinor) Dwinal
Mary R. Dwinal, 96, a longtime resident of Northfield died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at the Peabody Home in Franklin following a period of failing health. She was born in New York City, January 25, 1914, daughter of John and Mary (Reedy) Treinor. Mary spent her youth in Bangor, Maine and graduated from John Bapst Memorial High School. She later graduated from the University of Maine in Orono, ME. Mary moved from Bound Brook, New Jersey to Northfield in 1947. She was a homemaker and was a teacher’s aide at the Paul Smith School in Franklin. A devout Catholic, Mary was a longtime active parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Tilton. She was active with the Catholic Daughters. Over the years she enjoyed assisting with local Girl Scout activities. For many years she was a local census working for Merrimack County. She volunteered with the Cancer Society, at the Peabody Home over the years and enjoyed teaching CCD at her church. She was active, and assisted her late husband with the formation of the Charles Dwinal youth baseball leagues.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Charles F. Dwinal who died in 1997 and her son, Robert G. Dwinal who died in 2008.

Numerous nieces and nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road in Tilton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 A. M. at the Assumption Church, 16 Chestnut St. in Tilton. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery, Sanborn Road in Tilton.
