Berneice H. (LaQuire) Cote

Berneice "Bunny" H. Cote, 73, of 391 Victory Drive in Franklin died unexpectedly at her home Monday, January 18, 2010. She was born in Fitchburg, MA, May 8, 1936, daughter of Lloyd and Cora (Whittier) LaQuire. Berneice spent her youth in Salisbury, and graduated from Franklin High School, class of 1954. She lived in Franklin until the mid 70’s, then moving to Ashland, where she resided for over 20 years. She returned to Franklin in 1997. For many years she was employed as a seamstress at the former Tilton Dress Shop in Franklin and later as a spinner at L. W. Packard Woolen Mill in Ashland. She later worked part time in the Arts and Crafts Department at Walmart in Tilton. She especially enjoyed time spent with her great- grandchildren and working on her numerous craft projects. She was predeceased by her sister, Doreen LaQuire and her husband, Armand F. Cote who died in 1995. Her family includes,

Sister: Lucille Davis of Alabama
Nieces and Nephews
Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the William F. Smart Sr. Memorial Home, Franklin-Tilton Road in Tilton. A service will be held Friday at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Home. Spring burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Franklin. Expressions of Sympathy may be made in Berneice’s name to the Franklin Animal Shelter, 47 River Street Franklin, NH 03235.
